How to Wear A Valentines Day Look Every Day

A camel coat is a closet staple, in my opinion. I actually have two now, because my first one is so well-loved and I recently found this boxy Banana Republic version from Marshalls for less than $60! One of my favorite ways to wear a camel coat is when you want to tone down a statement piece in your outfit. I love a fun, bold print from time to time, like this skirt which begs to be taken for a spin around town this time of year.

This bright red skirt is part of my 'everyday outfit' that makes a quiet statement without being the total life of the party. When paired with neutral basics like a cashmere tee and camel coat, you can wear this look on more days than just February 14th! I'm definitely not into overly feminine looks (no girly-girl stuff happening over here and I'll take ranunculus and wildflowers over roses any day) and this is the perfect Valentine's Day style, or everyday style, for those Not A Rose Girls.
